Dixie was a successful show dog who roared straight to grand show champion in 8 straight shows, never losing a show. She went on to produce a high number of show dogs who were coondogs as well. Now spayed and retired, Dixie went to live with two little boys who needed a friend to cuddle with them, watch over them while they slept, and cover them with coonhound kisses, and Dixie's fit that bill perfectly.
