I believe Ellie to be one of the finest pups we've ever bred here at Rocking W, second only to her mom Belle. Her mom is out of our Dixie, who never failed to produce a coondog, and dual grand Outlaw Razor Red, 2001 purina outstanding redbone. Ellie's sire is our Buddy dog, an outstanding hunter in his own right who holds both a grand show title and a water champion title. Ellie started her show career with breed wins at the 2005 Texas Black and Tan Sectional and the Louisana State Championships, followed by a best in show win at the Louisiana Hilman House Benefit (she was beaten by her mom Belle for Queen Of Show). She then became our second Texas State Champion by winning best of show there the same year and has continued to be a consistent winner on the bench for us.
