Baby represents the fifth generation of our breeding, as she goes back through her sire Luke, grandmother Ellie, and great-grandmother Belle, all born in our kennel, as well as great-great-grandmother Dixie who was my very first breeding female so we are very excited about having her here to continue our line.

Baby is also what I call a "heart dog" - one of those dogs that just grabs your heart on sight and your gut tells you that you HAVE to have her. Baby came to us with a litter we were to sell for our friends the Boyers, and when Stefan first saw her in the pen the first day he went to the kennel to feed after their arrival he called to me "There's one in here I HAVE to have - she's so beautiful and she just keeps LOOKING at me like she wants me to pick her". I know how he feels, as his words reminded me so much of the feeling I had when I first saw my beloved Lil' Bit So Baby became Stefan's special project, and I believe he has chosen well as she is the spitting image of her beautiful grandmother Ellie.
